Mainly test battery’s safety performance when suffering from external damage. Test Items consist of electrical tests (including short circuit under room and high temperature, overcharge and forced discharge tests) and mechanical tests (including crush, nail, shock, heavy impact, vibration, drop, etc); testing facilities: high-temperature short circuit test box, battery heat shock test box, battery incinerator, heavy impact device, crush test machine, nail test machine, drop test machine, etc.

  • High Temperature Short Circuit Test Box
    Test battery safety performance under high-temperature short circuit with automatic warm-keeping function and normal temperature short circuit and heat shock testers.
  • Battery Heat Shock Test Box:
    Test battery performance under imitated rapid temperature rising environment.
  • Battery Incinerator
    Used for testing safety performance of battery suffering external fire.
  • Heavy Impact Test Device
    Analog heavy impact placed on cell or battery.
  • Crush Test machine
    Analog of cell or battery subject to external crush, The force for the crushing is to be applied by a hydraulic ram with 32mm diameter position. The crushing is to be continued until force of 17.2Mpa. Once the maximum pressure has been obtained, it is to be released.
  • Nail Test Machine
    Analog of cell or battery subject to external short circuit. Nail speed, nail force and nail time are adjustable.
  • Drop Test Machine:
    The maximum weight of the tested is 2kg with drop height 300-500mm (adjustable). Multi-site and multi-angle drop is supported. It is applicable to the drop test of battery, mobile phones, electronic dictionary and other mini consumer electronics and their parts.

Lithium Battery Auto Test and Formation Equipment
Used for formation, capacity sort, charge, discharge and cycle life tests on lithium-ion battery to ensure whole performances of single especially combined battery.
1) lithium-ion batteries can be independently tested with own CC and CV supply
2) Able to test internal resistance and select battery
3) Multi hardware protection: sampling line break protection, upper and lower over voltage protection and electric leakage protection
4) Powerful software function to finish unified test, monitor, data process and table report, etc;
5) Multi battery connectors to keep each battery’s complete charge & discharge data and curve;
6) With function data protection under power cut-off;

High-Precise Battery Test Instrument
Mainly used for test of cell cycle time, capacity, charge & discharge on li-polymer, lithium-ion, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, Lead acid battery.
1) Stable and reliable hardware system;
2) Multi charge & discharge mode: CC, CV and CC/CV charge, and CC, CP and CR discharge;
3) Cycle range: 1-9999 times;

Rechargeable Battery Auto Test Instrument
Activating test, capacity sorting test, charge & discharge and cycle life test on single Ni-MH and Ni-Cd battery.
1) Double-size structure. 768 batteries can be tested with 16 CC sources independently controlling and with each CC source charging & discharging to 48 batteries;
2) Non-contact switch way as voltage sampling;
3) Friendly man-machine interface. Able to set maximum 6 charge-discharge work step combinations;

Pro Temp & Humi Test Machine
Able to control temperature (-20℃-150℃) and humidity (20%-98% R.H.). Used to imitate battery storage environment (low temp, high temp, high humi. etc), test battery high & low temperature cycle and battery environmental adaptability performances.
Structure: import cooling system, electronic safety protection system, fan system, heat & humidity system, sensor system, water system and control system.

Precise Salt Spray Test Machine
Main test the corrosion resistance of materials through surface treatment including coating, plating, inorganic & organic surface coating, anode treatment, anti-rust oil. Instrument characteristics:
1) Manual/auto water system.
2) Digital display of temperature controller, with PID error ±0.1℃.
3) Dual over temperature protection
4) Direct steam heating way to ensure fast temperature rise and less standby time

High & Low Temperature Machine
Imitate battery storage environment under high and low temp, test battery high & low temperature cycle and battery environmental adaptability performances.
Microcomputer controlled, precise temperature sensor system, digital display, reliable, stable,, temperature control scope: -40℃-150℃.

Mainly test whether battery materials contain environmental hazardous elements and their content, including Pb, Cd, Hg and so on. It has atomic absorption spectrophotometer (including flame atomic generator and flow hydride generator), electronic analysis scale, electric-heating distilling apparatus, etc

Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer
Widely used to analyze trace elements of various materials and test Pb, Cd, Hg and other 50 elements. There are two generators for this instrument: flame atomic generator testing ppm level content (10-6) and low hydride generator with sensitivity reaching ng/ml level (10-9).

Electronic Analysis Scale
Features: automatic failure inspection, external weight, automatic adjustment, overload protection, precise measurement, noctilucent display, internal tackle, piece weighing, percentage weighing, unit transfer (mg, g, kg, pound, carat and ounce), build in RS232C connector, and connection to computer and printer.
